GreenLight Biosciences is recognised in Science Magazine for having a blueprint to vaccinate the world via small, modular mRNA plants that can be shipped anywhere in the world. An extract is below:

A single production room, roughly the size of four shipping containers, could make most of its own raw materials and crank out 17 million doses per month. For about $200 million the company says it could provide a mini–vaccine plant and a “clean room” to house it. The company says one of these could be up and running as little as 1 year after an agreement is signed. “You could leapfrog our ability to fight pandemics,” Dybul says.
